Blessings from Annapurna

The Annapurna region is a section of the Himalayas in north-central Nepal. The meaning of the Sanskrit word Annapurna (अन्नपूर्णा), who is also know as the Vedic Goddess of nourishment: Anna means food and grains. Purna means full, complete and perfect. She is a form of Parvati, the Cosmic Mother and consort of Shiva.
