Gurupurnima 2009 |

Gurupurnima is the festival of spirituality, a celebration of the principle of a Master, a Guru. Gu means darkness and Ru means light and Guru is the one who leads us from darkness to light. Gurupurnima is also a remembrance of the day when the rays of the Sun touched the Earth for the very first time. It is the day of wisdom, the day of the Light. Swamiji is sending much love and blessings to all of us throughout the world on the occasion of this year's Gurupurnima.
