5th International Youth Conference – announcement and call for papers

We would like to inform you about the 5th International Youth Conference of Yoga in Daily Life, to take part in Prague/Czech Republic, November 30 till December 1, 2007.

The Conference will commence with the "Colourful Concert" on Friday, November 30 and will continue on Saturday, December 1, with presentation of papers, NGO's and an exhibition of graphic works, photos, etc. On Saturday evening His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda, the initiator and patron of the Youth Conference, will hold a public lecture titled "The Hidden Powers in Humans", in the Lucerna Hall in Prague.

The aim of the conference is to awaken the public consciousness about the opinions and problems of the younger generation and to suggest solutions. Papers will be dealing with education and its accessibility, environmental concerns and social issues which make young life difficult (family problems, divorces, wars and its impact on family, religious intolerance, etc.).
