Members of Yoga in Daily Life - New York attended the United Nations programs for the International Day of Yoga, including a 'Yoga Session with Yoga Masters' on June 20; 'Conversation on Yoga & Health', panel discussion at the UN; and a 'meet & greet' session with HH Puja Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati on June 20.

Celebrations in New York City

In observance of the International Day of Yoga, YIDL-NY offered a free Yoga Class on June 21 at 7 pm.

On Thursday June 22, YIDL-NY hosted Deepika Kothari and Om Ramji from Vishuddi Films, authors of the documentary film 'History of Yoga', who were visiting New York on the occasion of IDY. The film-makers recorded a yoga class at the YIDL Ashram for use in their next film project.
