Sadhvi Uma Puri in London

 UK bhaktas were delighted to welcome Sadhvi Uma Puri to the Sri Swami Madhavanandaji Ashram in London last weekend. Uma Puri led a busy programme of activities that included a ceremony to initiate a new Shiva Lingam, cookery classes, a ‘spring cleaning for your body and mind’ workshop and Shanka Prakshalan Kriya.

Attended by disciples and students of the London yoga centre, we enjoyed many special moments and even the English weather was warm enough for us to practise Asanas and Pranayama under the sun in the park before visiting the Peace Tree planted by Swamiji in 2010.
