SPECIAL EVENT: Discover Ojas, the essence of your life force
Invitation to a special event: the Ojas Weekend Retreat
From 10–12 October 2025, the Yoga in Daily Life Ashram in Rijeka, Croatia, will host the Ayurvedic Weekend Retreat – Ojas: The Essence of Your Life Force. The Ayurveda Academy of Yoga in Daily Life (AYAC) warmly welcomes you to join this special event.
If you would like to experience Ayurveda firsthand or become part of the Academy, this is your chance to meet and learn directly from Dr Sushrut Sardeshmukh in Europe.
What is Ojas?
Ojas is the subtle essence of vitality present in everyone. It sustains health, gives strength, supports a positive aura, and keeps us aligned with the rhythm of life.
During this retreat, Dr Sushrut Sardeshmukh will share how simple daily choices of nutrition, lifestyle rituals, restful sleep, meditation, pranayama, self-massage (abhyanga), and gentle yoga can powerfully enhance health and vitality.
This is a rare opportunity to meet an authentic Vaidya (Ayurvedic Doctor) and receive direct guidance in the art of nurturing health and harmony.
While AYAC also offers in-depth professional training for those wishing to bring Ayurveda into their careers, this weekend retreat is Ayurveda in a nutshell: essential aspects are included and presented in a way that can be immediately applied in daily life. The Ojas Retreat is for everyone who wishes to refresh energy, strengthen health and integrate timeless wisdom into their lifestyle.

About the Ayurveda Academy of Yoga in Daily Life
The Ayurveda Academy of Yoga in Daily Life (AYAC) was founded with the vision and blessing of Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda. He not only gave the Academy its name but also offered his own hands as the model for its logo.
His inspiration, spirit and tireless work brought AYAC into reality. Since its foundation in 2004 in Vienna, AYAC has grown into a trusted institution, dedicated to bringing authentic Ayurveda knowledge from India to Europe.
Leadership and Guidance
For the best quality of Ayurveda education, Vishwaguruji brought together Claudia Matejovsky (Muktamani) and Dr. Sushrut Sardeshmukh (Ph.D. Ayurveda) to lead the Academy.
Muktamani – Claudia Matejovsky
Managing Director of the Ayurveda Academy of Yoga in Daily Life
Claudia Matejovsky, known as Muktamani, brings extensive professional experience from her years as personnel manager at a hotel group. She is a certified Yoga in Daily Life teacher and a close disciple of Vishwaguruji.
After completing several Ayurveda trainings in Germany, Switzerland and India, she founded the company Sattva, to improve quality of life. She also completed the Yoga & Ayurveda Basic Training at the Ayurveda College Vishwashantidham, Wagholi, Pune, certified by Tilak Maharashtra University. From then on, and still today, she leads AYAC with dedication, bridging authentic tradition with modern needs.
Prof. Dr Sadanand Prabhakar Sardeshmukh
Scientific Director of the Ayurveda Academy of Yoga in Daily Life
Director of the Ayurvedic Hospital, Wagholi, Pune, India
Prof. Dr Sadanand Prabhakar Sardeshmukh was born into a respected Vaidya family, where Vedic knowledge has been carefully preserved and passed down through many generations. He is a professor at universities in Pune and Bombay and frequently lectures both in India and abroad.
As a practising Ayurveda physician, Dr. Sardeshmukh has treated patients from across India and internationally — including Australia, Germany, Austria, Japan, and the U.S.A. With his expertise and guidance, the Academy was founded in 2004. In the following years 14 lecturers from his college came to Europe to teach Ayurveda. Since 2008, the Academy has been working closely with his son, Dr. Sushrut Sardeshmukh, who continues this family tradition of authentic Ayurveda.
Yoga and Ayurveda: Two Streams of One Wisdom
AYAC complements the system of Yoga in Daily Life. Together, Yoga and Ayurveda cultivate a healthy spirit, a strong body and a balanced mind. They are two streams of the same timeless wisdom, guiding individuals toward harmony and holistic well-being.
AYAC’s Mission and Work
Over the years, AYAC has trained many practitioners who now share Ayurveda in different health-related fields. Many graduates work as consultants and therapists, contributing actively to the well-being of others. The Academy provides not only professional education but also practical tools for everyday life. Even a single practice such as self-massage, a warm meal, or a daily routine, can make a real difference to health and quality of life.
As Vishwaguruji has often said:
“One gram of practice is more than a thousand tons of theory.”
AYAC is led by Claudia Matejovsky, known as Muktamani – a certified Yoga in Daily Life teacher and devoted disciple of Vishwaguru Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda. She completed the Yoga & Ayurveda Basic training in Pune, India, certified by Tilak Maharashtra University, and continues to guide the Academy with dedication and authenticity.
Since 2025, AYAC has also been a supportive member of the International Sri Deep Madhavananda Ashram Fellowship, standing as a respected bridge between tradition and modern life.
