In the International Youth Conference, on 1 December 2007 in Prague, youths from numerous countries participated, as well as renowned artists and dignitaries from politics and science. Amongst them were representatives from the Ministry of Education of Czech Republic and from UNESCO. The youth demonstrated a lot of wisdom, insight and fresh ideas in their visions about the world and its future.
On the occasion of this year's World Peace Summit in Budapest organizers are announcing a youth drawing competition. Children and youth under 18 years of age are invited to create drawings in any technique on the theme called "A peaceful world" Read more about a competition:

Sadhvi Shanti will be visiting main Slovenian cities (Nova Gorica, Novo Mesto, Domzale, Celje, Kranj, Ljubljana and Maribor), between March 31 until April 6, 2008. She will be presenting her last trip to Himalayas, covering holy places like Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, as well as Pushkar. On 11th June 2009 the Yoga Union of Slovenia has been presented with a special award at Brdo near Kranj in the framework of the competition titled "The Best Voluntary Project of the Year", organized by the National Youth Council of Slovenia.
From 20th to 22nd of February 2009 an international seminar of Yoga in Daily Life, led by His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda took place in Strilky/Czech Republic
